Grilled Cuban Pork Chops

Grilled Cuban Pork Chops are an excellent choice for Memorial Day celebrations.

Here is a simple and unique recipe for you to try on this Memorial Day. 

Ingredients

Cuban Rub

  • 2tablespoons grated lime peel
  • 1tablespoon cumin seed
  • 1tablespoon cracked black pepper
  • 1/2teaspoon salt
  • 2tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
  • 1clove garlic, finely chopped

Pork Chops

  • 4 boneless pork loin or rib chops, about 1 inch thick (about 2 pounds)
  • Mango slices, if desired


1. Heat coals or gas grill for direct heat. Remove excess fat from pork. In small bowl, mix all Cuban Rub ingredients; rub evenly on both sides of pork.

2. Cover and grill pork 4 to 6 inches from medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, turning frequently, until pork is no longer pink and meat thermometer inserted in center reads 160°F. Garnish with mango slices.

  • Eat with corn on the cob and white rice and black beans.
