The Cuban Breakfast

The Cuban breakfast is not as elaborate as in other cultures, but it is composed of different types of foods.

The more common one features eggs, french fries or Spanish-style potatoes, and a side of tostadas (sliced buttered Cuban bread), and a cafe con leche.

For a quick breakfast, you can just eat tostadas with a cafe con leche.

Those who have a sweet tooth and desire pastries can eat guava or cheese pastries with a cafe con leche. A side order of delicious croquetas is always a nice treat in the mornings too.

The Cuban breakfast is café con leche y pan con mantequilla, y a veces un jugo–no potatoes, no eggs, no bacon.
